100 x CENTO DESIGN

On the occasion of the Rinascente department store’s centenary – 100 years since Gabriele D’Annunzio invented its name in 1917 – Moroso takes part in the window dressing scheme for the chain’s time-honoured store on Piazza del Duomo, Milan. From June 6 to 12, eight visually exciting window settings, designed by Elle Décor, will highlight 100 design icons to mark Rinascente’s 100 years.
This very special event could not fail to include Moroso designs. Chosen for this major anniversary, the Fjord armchair was designed by Patricia Urquiola and has a strong, recognisable personality; the other selected Moroso design, Tokujin Yoshioka’s Moon chair, presents Japanese perfectionism and aesthetic simplicity in a fine balance of ancient poetics and modern styling.
