Bright colours and floreal patterns for the display at Moroso’s Milan showroom

With its new display, curated by Marco Viola Studio, Moroso’s Milan showroom, located in the heart of Brera, takes on a summery, colourful new look.
Josh, designed by Edward van Vliet and upholstered in the new Ikebane, floreal fabric by the same designer, takes over with personality the window space.
Among the novelties on display, Gogan by Patricia Urquiola and Tape, modular sofa system designed by Benjamin Hubert.
By playing around with gravity and balance, we can make normally heavy shapes lightweigh: The backrest and seat are joined by abutments, which lend the sofa a sense of lightness, so that it appears as if it was suspended above the ground.
The Tape sofa, instead, comprises a series of different “building blocks” – seats, backs and armrests – elements that can be placed together to create ever-varying combinations, adapting the design for both large public spaces and smaller living areas.
Still very present the references to the outdoor collection M’Afrique, which celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this year: Imba by Federica Capitani, Arco by Martino Gamper, Husk by Marc Thorpe, the inconic Shadowy by Tord Boontje and the Banjooli collection by Sebastian Herkner, are among the products on dispaly from this unique collection, which fill up the space with colours thanks to these creations hand woven in the Moroso atelier in Dakar.
