Moroso presents “Play With Fire” at Madrid Design Festival 2026

On the occasion of Madrid Design Festival 2026, Moroso presented the immersive installation “Play With Fire” at MINIM Madrid, a scenographic and material-driven project combining research, craftsmanship, and contemporary experimentation in a visually striking narrative.

The installation, curated by Moroso together with the MINIM team and the designers, transformed the showroom into an evocative environment where material becomes language and fire a symbol of transformation. A journey conceived to engage visitors in a visual and tactile experience, bringing memory and innovation into dialogue.

The installation featured the collections Mangiafuoco and Clay, designed by Zanellato/Bortotto. Mangiafuoco was developed in collaboration with Incalmi, a Venetian workshop specializing in fire-enamelled copper, a high-temperature process that transforms metal into a vitrified surface with unique, unpredictable reflections. Clay, created with Botteganove, celebrates the ceramic tradition of Nove (Vicenza) through contemporary research into glazes, textures, and reliefs.

The opening cocktail event was met with strong attendance and enthusiastic appreciation from professionals and design enthusiasts alike. Special thanks to Frescobaldi for the catering partnership, which contributed to creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere.

With “Play With Fire,” Moroso reaffirms its commitment to craftsmanship and material research, fostering dialogue between contemporary design and Italian artisanal heritage within an international context such as Madrid Design Festival.
