“INTEGRAL” with Patricia Urquiola

Meeting with Patricia Urquiola at the University of Parma with the participation of Patrizia Moroso

The first “INTEGRAL” conference chaired by Patricia Urquiola was held, with the participation of Patrizia Moroso, at the University Campus of Parma during the celebrations for the 15th anniversary of the Gallani Arredamenti showroom, Moroso historical dealer.
During this meeting the internationally-renowned Spanish designer talked about the long process involved in making a product, starting from the initial idea and going through an intricate web of skills and professional expertise. She made a point of emphasising the special relationship that has been binding her to Patrizia Moroso and to the company for many years.
The meeting was organised together with the University of Parma, Master’s Degree Course in Architecture, in the Engineering Department, Lecture Hall A, via G.P. Usberti.
Afterwards, Patricia Urquiola and Patrizia Moroso participated as guests of honour in the exclusive event dedicated to architects at the Gallani Arredamenti showroom. The Spanish designer’s creations such as the Tender sofa, the Mafalda and Clarissa armchairs, the iconic Fjord leisure chair and, lastly, the Redondo and Field sofas surrounded by the Fishbone and Shanghai Tip coffee tables were essential exhibits of the showroom.
In the splendid backdrop of the Roccabianca Castle, the “Alla corte di Moroso” exhibition, featuring Moroso’s contemporary design, was also organised from 13.09.2014 to 12.10.2014 as part of the celebration programme.
Iconic company products by designers of the standing of Patricia Urquiola, Ron Arad, Doshi and Levien, a perfect match for this exceptional location, were showcased at the exhibition.
