Moroso strengthens its presence in France and returns to Maison&Objet in Paris
Moroso, through major investments, is consolidating its position on the French market, which is the most important foreign market for the company, after its subsidiaries in the US and the UK. To emphasize its focus on the French market, Moroso decided to exhibit again its collection and recent novelties at Maison&Objet, which will be held from 17 to 21 January in Paris at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre (Paris Nord 2, 93420 Villepinte).
The 100 sq m Moroso space (Hall 6 – Stand I2 / J1) was designed by Moroso’s creative team, in collaboration with partner company nanimarquina, with the aim of telling the story of a new way of living, in which different experiences and styles merge, involving a shared sense of sensitivity and openness towards the world’s cultures, desire to experiment and deep passion for art.
The Moroso stand will feature some of the main new products on show at the last Salone del Mobile in Milan: the Gogan collection by Patricia Urquiola and the Precious chair family by Johannes Torpe. These new products will be accompanied by the Pipe chairs by Sebastian Herkner and the Mathilda and Phoenix tables by Patricia Urquiola. The installation will be completed by the Shadowy armchair by Tord Boontje, an icon of the M’Afrique outdoor collection.
From January 2020, Moroso’s long-standing partner Silvera will become an exclusive retailer in Paris. Founded in 1990 by Paul and Fabienne Silvera, today Silvera is an integrated concept that includes over 500 French and international design brands in 10 Paris showrooms and a store in London. The strategic move is part of the project to strengthen Moroso’s presence on foreign markets with prestigious commercial and retail businesses supported by targeted marketing and communication strategies. To confirm its commitment to Paris and the French market, Moroso will have a dedicated person focusing on contract merket, architecture firms and interior designers.
