Moroso at Design Shanghai
Moroso participated for the first time in Design Shanghai, China’s leading international design event, held 27-30 March 2015 in the Shanghai Exhibition Center. Design Shanghai’s goal is to involve and connect the world’s premier design brands with Chinese architects, interior designers and the country’s most influential buyers.
Inside its dedicated space, Moroso presented a selection of products by world-renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Ron Arad, Tord Boontje, Alfredo Häberli, Front, Nendo, and Rajiv Saini. The unique space was inspired by a surrealistic green home and was surrounded by walls decorated with drawings by the Italian artist Francesco Simeti.
In addition to Moroso’s exhibition space at Design Shanghai, the fair also had a lounge featuring the Diesel Living with Moroso collection, with products such as Cloudscape armchairs, Perf cabinets, and Piston and Hexxed tables.
Its presence at this important show is yet another aspect of Moroso’s increasing presence in Asia, which was further consolidated by the recent opening in Hong Kong of a brand-dedicated area in Lane Crawford’s major store in the Pacific Place shopping centre.
