Moroso at the 2019 Salone del Mobile.Milano in Shanghai
Moroso confirms its presence in Shanghai from 20th to 22nd November 2019
Moroso will take part in Salone del Mobile.Milano, in Shanghai, an international point of reference for creativity and design. The fair, which will take place at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, is a meeting place for international brands, architects, designers and buyers in the Chinese market.
This marks the continuation of the constructive and fruitful dialogue between Moroso and the Chinese market, increasingly attracted by the Italian company’s creativity and manufacturing value. Once again this year, to underline its interest in this growing market, the company will be present with two stands, one dedicated to the historic Moroso brand and another to the Diesel Living with Moroso collaboration.
The star of Moroso’s space will be Gogan, the soft sofa designed by Patricia Urquiola and presented for the first time in Milan last spring. Along with the sofa, the armchair from the Gogan collection in Terrazzo fabric, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso and produced by Limonta, will also be on display. The space is completed by the Precious collection designed by eclectic Danish designer Johannes Torpe.
The recent collections (Love Me) Tender by Patricia Urquiola and Pipe by Sebastian Herkner will also be on display. The display will also be punctuated by several iconic products by Patricia Urquiola: the Mathilda table, the Lilo Wing armchair and the Highlands bed. Sophistication and love for textiles, which have always been a distinctive feature of Moroso, will find their expression also through the collection Tapestry and with the new collection of throw blankets, The 7 Playds.
The exhibition space dedicated to the Diesel Living with Moroso collection will be characterized by products with a casual, comfortable look, inspired by an idea of informal, but high-quality living combined with a bold, linear style. On display, the most recent collections, such as AeroZeppelin, Assembly, the Nebula sofa in the new Light version and the Perf collection in the Broken Stripes finish presented at the last Salone del Mobile, accompanied by icons such as the Longwave armchair and the Pylon table. With the new product families, Diesel Living with Moroso re-establishes itself as a collection with an ironic and unconventional approach to design that uses skilfully treated raw materials and contrasting forms; a perfect mix between Moroso’s commitment to research and Diesel’s denim focus.
Moroso’s participation in this important event is a further step towards strengthening the brand’s presence in Asia. Understanding Chinese taste and leading Chinese customers to discover its world is essential for a company like Moroso, whose brand identity embraces multiple influences and has a natural propensity for foreign markets.
