MOROSO CONCEPT 2017
The shortlist of 12 finalists will be chosen by a jury composed of Andrea Bruciati, art historian, Patrizia Moroso, Moroso’s art director, and Paola Pivi, an internationally renowned artist who won the Golden Lion at the 1999 Venice Biennale and this year is Moroso Concept’s special guest. The twelve finalists will be asked to create a design which is devised specifically for Moroso environments but could also be made for and displayed in museums and contemporary art centres.

The winners will be announced during the major exhibition to be held 28 April to 4 June 2017 at the Museo Etnografico del Friuli in Udine, in association with Udine Town Council’s Culture Department. The exhibition will include a display of the 12 finalist works plus works by the 12 selector artists.

A second international jury will choose the three winners. The members are Fabio Cavallucci, director of the contemporary art museum Luigi Pecci, designer Martino Gamper, architect Amanda Levete, Jovain Jelovac, Belgrade Design Week’s founder and chairman, and Piero Gandini, FLOS art director.
