Moroso will take part in Designblok – Prague International Design Festival
From 17 to 21 October Moroso will participate at Prague Designblok, the largest design show in Central Europe. The history of the festival dates back to 1999 and traditionally shows a selection of works of designers and manufacturers from all over Europe.
An array of novelties will be on display, including Heartbreaker and Precious by Johannes Torpe. The Danish designer will be the main guest of the festival and of the event scheduled for the 15th of October. The event will take place at the Konsepti showroom, in collaboration with the local partner. Heartbreaker, the collection of sofas by Torpe has been conceived as a “contract” sofa. Its stylistic keynote lies in the design of its armrest, representing half of a heart, or a heart broken in two. Therefore, the heart can be reassembled in the combination of different sofas. The Precious seats, also by Torpe, combining refinement with product solidity, making it suitable for intensive uses, despite its delicate look. In line with current tastes and a love for “precious” materials, the Precious collection has been enriched by a variety of fabrics and finishes, with particular attention to details.
Gogan by Patricia Urquiola will also be on display, along with Tape by Benjamin Hubert, in the version equipped with power unit: an innovative product which seamlessly combines “fashion-technology-sustainability”.
