MOROSO ENTERS THE 2016 EU PRESIDENCY

With its products from the Sushi Collection, Moroso is inside the EU Presidency which, from 1st January to 30th June 2016, is based in Amsterdam.
Studio Edward van Vliet designed and renovated the space for the European Commission, incorporating a revisited version of the Sushi Collection Edward van Vliet designed for Moroso. A new, specially designed fabric in tones of blue covers the Sushi family products, such as the Juju small armchair or the Block Seat, already part of the collection, as well as new elements that have been added.
The theme is ‘exploring’. It refers to the maritime nature of the buildings and to how the Dutch have explored the world. But it is also a reference to Dutch design, to its revolutionary and innovative nature.
