Moroso will set up the Terrazza Biennale at Venice International Film Festival

Moroso will be on show on Terrazza Biennale managed by chef Tino Vettorello at the upcoming 76th Venice International Film Festival, which will be held from 28th August to 7th September at the Venice Lido.

This 76th edition of the Venice Film Festival will be seasoned and flavoured by the cuisine of renowned international chef Tino Vettorello. The restaurant, located at the Terrazza Biennale, right in front of the Red Carpet, will be the gastronomic centre of the Festival. The spaces will be set up with some of Moroso iconic products such as Ripple Chair, Supernatural and Little Albert. The colourful M’Afrique outdoor collection will also be on show.

The restaurant’s indoor spaces will be furnished with Supernatural chairs, a 2005 design by Ross Lovegrove in which sinuous shapes radiate from the frame-structure to the surrounding space, creating full and empty spaces through the holes in the backrest that produce captivating shadow effects.
The Ripple Chairs by Ron Arad will furnish the outer area of the Terrazza Biennale: these chairs are the figurative and three-dimensional reworking of the sign of infinity, transposed in a bundle of lines. A unique movement that makes the plastic material fluid and transforms it, abstracting it from its practical and structural function.
Finally, the lounge areas will be furnished with Little Albert outdoor chairs, also designed by Ron Arad, and a selection of pieces from the M’Afrique collection: Banjooli by Sebastian Herkner and Shadowy by Tord Boontje.

„The art of excitement also involves aesthetics: the dish is a container on which we create a design,” says Vettorello. This spirit led to the partnership with Moroso, a company which, by focusing on an artisan approach to creating products and a strong creative impulse in the design phase, stands out on the market for the quality, innovation and creativity of its products, which boast a strong emotional impact.
