New Moroso Collections at NYCXDesign
On the occasion of NYCxDesign 2019 the Moroso showroom in SoHo, at 146 Greene Street, has been set up with the new collections Heartbreaker and Precious both designed by Johannes Torpe. These two collections have been presented alongside new introductions to the American market: Tape by Benjamin Hubert, Yumi by Niels Bendtsen, Josh by Edward Van Vliet and Mathilda table and Lilo by Patricia Urquiola.
The collections offer solutions for both residential and commercial settings delivering on style and quality. From sectional sofas to dining chairs, barstools, dining table and WIFI connected modular seating, the Moroso novelties are the utmost combination of the companies’ historical craftsmanship with modern industrialization and technology.
Moreover, the newly redesigned Moroso showroom in SoHo has been illuminated by Ingo Maurer lights.“I have always loved Ingo’s work, I believe his poetry, vision, irony and way of using color are in perfect harmony to our sensitivity,” says Patrizia Moroso. “We have always had in common the passion for projects and unconventional way of interpreting design objects. In addition to this, I myself have an infinite respect for him as a person”.
The launch event took place on Saturday May 18th and were attended by Patrizia Moroso, Creative Director of the company, and Damir Eskerica, CEO of Moroso.
