Normal Non-Normal | Moroso at Milan Design Week 2025
On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025, Moroso presents its latest collections inside its Flagship Store at Via Pontaccio 8/10, the beating heart of the company in the Brera Design District. An immersive and engaging installation brings to life the concept of “Normal Non-Normal”, a poetic and design-driven exploration of the contemporary meaning of normality.
All content will also be available in digital format on the new website of the Flagship Store.
Through the work of Patricia Urquiola, García Cumini, and Zanellato/Bortotto, the Flagship Store becomes a storytelling space dedicated to living—where comfort, surfaces, and volumes become tools of a totalizing experience that speaks to both body and mind. An invitation to go beyond aesthetic conventions and explore a new idea of home: emotional, sustainable, and increasingly connected to people’s lives.
Among the highlights is D-Scape for Diesel Living with Moroso, a modular and sculptural seating system designed under the creative direction of Glenn Martens in collaboration with Controvento. Inspired by cosmic space and the aesthetic language of Cosmic Pop, the collection stands out for its soft, asymmetrical forms designed to offer comfort and versatility in a bold vision of contemporary living.
Alongside the 2025 novelties, the installation also features a selection of projects developed by students from the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe, supported by Moroso and supervised by designer Wieki Somers, as well as the exhibition “Space is an Illusion”, a tribute to the thinking and creative legacy of Nanda Vigo, on display until autumn 2025.
Moroso will also be present throughout the city with four satellite installations celebrating some of the brand’s most significant and recent collections. These additional venues will offer new opportunities to engage with the public and further explore the dialogue between design, art, and experimentation.
Moroso’s participation in Milan Design Week 2025 reaffirms the company’s commitment to promoting cutting-edge design that brings together research, craftsmanship, and cultural vision.
