Patrizia Moroso guest in Taranto for a workshop dedicated to touch
On September 19, Moroso took part in a special event hosted by Kino, the second stage of a journey dedicated to the five senses and, on this occasion, to touch.
The meeting featured Patrizia Moroso, who shared with participants her vision of design and the central role that material and tactile perception play in the brand’s projects.
For Moroso, materials are not merely a technical choice but an essential component of the design language: from plush to water-foamed polyurethane, from tailor-made fabrics to fishing net threads, every detail contributes to creating a sensory and emotional experience.
During the workshop, Patrizia recalled how, to the many designers who have collaborated with the company over the years – including Antonio Citterio, Ron Arad, Massimo Iosa Ghini and Patricia Urquiola – she has always asked to “imagine a world, not just an object, and to relate it to the future.”
An encounter that transformed the theme of touch into an open dialogue on design, research and the ability to connect emotion and material.
