Winners of 2017 Moroso Concept announced

Francesco Fonassi, Margherita Moscardini and Driant Zeneli are the winners of the 2017 MOROSO CONCEPT. The jury chose them – from a shortlist of 12 finalists – for their singular ability to interpret the connection between the artist’s vision and the spirit of Moroso, which promotes the award.
The jury also awarded special mentions to the designs by CANEMORTO, Valerio Nicolai, Luigi Presicce.
Designed specifically for Moroso locations, the three projects can also be made and exhibited in museums and public contemporary art centres.
The 2017 MOROSO CONCEPT exhibition is open until 4 June 2017 at the Ethnographic Museum of Friuli in association with Udine Town Council’s Department for Culture, Civic Museums.
Its layout unites the works by the finalists of the 6th Moroso Concept with the works by the 12 artists who won in previous years or who were awarded special mentions and were involved in selecting this year’s candidates.
